Success is the result that emerges at the intersection of talent, courage, and discipline.
Tata Entertainment is an independent company born from a desire to create something new in theatre and cinema, to launch and independently promote projects from the ground up, drawing on many years of industry experience.
At the core of our work is a team of professionals united by courage, a willingness to take responsibility for ambitious projects, and the conviction that every artistic statement creates space for dialogue and brings people closer together.
Today, Tata Entertainment holds a strong position in the industry, actively expands its geographic reach, and lays the groundwork for international collaboration in theatre, film production, and at the intersection of the visual arts.
While others assess the opportunity, we build the implementation plan.
About
founder
Tata Khachatrian
Her creative journey began in childhood when she started working in theater and film. Later, after graduating from Russian Institute of Theatre Arts, she solidified her professional status by continuing to work in performances at the Saint Petersburg Theater of Musical Comedy and participating in an opera performance at the Mariinsky Theatre, nominated for the "Golden Mask" award.
She received three state commendations for the solo performance "Shagané. The Poet’s Secret," in which she served as actress, co-author, and executive producer. This project became a cultural discovery, revealing the true story of Shagané Taliyan, the woman who inspired Sergey Esenin to create the famous cycle "Persian Motifs."
Currently, alongside theatrical tours and film work, Tata realizes herself as a producer. The production center she founded is engaged in creating and developing independent artistic projects, introducing new names and formats.
Performance «CHANEL № stravinsky»
"A Love Story That Paris Kept Silent About"
As the familiar world crumbles beyond the walls, in an empty hall saturated with the echo of music and the premonition of war, two legends meet: Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel and Igor Stravinsky. This night will become the starting point for exploring passion, genius, and human vulnerability.
In this story, ghosts of the past appear: Sergei Diaghilev, creator of the "Russian Seasons," and the mysterious Watchman, whose practical wisdom becomes an unexpected counterpoint to the drama of these great creators.
Inspired by real events, the performance is not simply a biography, but an intense dialogue between icons of the twentieth century. Through witty exchanges and emotional clashes, their complex relationship is revealed—their inner conflicts and the agonizing search for inspiration amid the chaos of the era.
References to the scandalous "Rite of Spring," interwoven with the aesthetics of Chanel fashion, create a powerful emotional backdrop. Here the set design breathes with music, and each gesture and word of the characters sound like a note in the score.
WITHOUT SHAGANÉ, RUSSIAN POETRY WOULD NOT HAVE FOUND ITS "PERSIAN MOTIFS"
The play was written in collaboration between an actress and a director, who drew entirely upon historical and documentary materials discovered in archives. Many significant individuals were involved in creating the project. Renowned philologist and Esenin scholar Natalya Igorevna Shubnikova-Guseva contributed her expertise. The scientific works of Vladimir Germanovich Belousov, who spent many years studying Sergey Esenin’s literary legacy and corresponded with Shagané Taliyan herself, were thoroughly examined.
The action begins in the city of Batumi in the 1920s, then moves to Ryazan and Yerevan, following the life path of the heroine. The stage depicts the life story of Shagané Nersesovna Taliyan — the poet’s muse, a Russian language and literature teacher, and an Armenian by nationality. Her emotions, her life journey: the loss of loved ones, her father, mother, and husband, and the joy of meeting new love — mutual love that never became a shared life path.
The relatives of Shagané herself were located. One of them turned out to be a highly respected Armenian clergyman — Father Kyurekh Taliyan. A recording of his voice is heard in the production. Shagané's daughter, Karine, is now 87 years old and lives in San Francisco. With the support of these individuals, we were able to obtain unique and valuable information and photographs that were used for writing and creating the project.
Sergey Esenin mentions the name Shagané in six poems from the cycle "Persian Motifs." And "Shagané you are mine, Shagané" is rightfully considered one of the masterpieces of Russian literature and the poet’s most recognizable lyrical work.
